OFF-THE-GRID

Robert and Hillary Bergeron moved from the city more than a decade ago and built a solar home, with compost toilets and rainwater collection.  Since then, they have been experimenting with all aspects of off-grid living.  Between writing books, continuous building projects, and their rural lifestyle, they stay fairly busy.  In their spare time, they both enjoy painting and sculpting, as well as hiking, canoeing, learning new homesteading skills and exploring nature.
